In 2014, I founded Factor 31, a 3d printing and rapid prototyping service bureau and designed its branding and advertising. Bright ochre was chosen to stand against neutral greys to reflect both our excitement around the technology as well as its utility in a multitude of applications.
The brand mark was designed to invoke the tesseract or a visualization of a 4 dimensional cube. A suitable icon representing the realms in which we primarily worked, volumes and time.
